Painting your ceilings in addition to your walls allows for straighter lines and is a lot more forgiving when performing touch-ups. This helps reduce extra costs that may arise from hard-to-reach ceiling spaces.
To help keep a consistent paint color for the entire duration of your interior painting project, we recommend mixing a few cans of paint in a large 5-gallon bucket. Using a 5 gallon bucket roller tray will keep your waste and mess to a minimum.

If you are hiring professional painters to paint your house interior, you’re likely wondering how often your walls, ceilings, and trim should be painted. But you really can’t afford to contract the wrong company. Not doing your homework may leave you under the assumption that you have hired a painting contractor when in reality you have just hired a painter. When you hire just a painter, you as the homeowner have taken all responsibilities of a contractor.
Look at areas that look like they have water damage or other types of damage. Both interior and exterior areas that are damaged will need to be fully repaired before painting. Old homes are often full of surprises when this step is taken so be prepared. A reputable painting company will make sure that all repairs (especially where water, mildew or rot is concerned) are fully completed before painting.
Be sure to use a stain-blocking primer in high-humidity and high-moisture rooms, such as the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room to reduce the chance of the paint flaking, peeling, bubbling or blistering.
Luckily, search engines like Google are now pretty good at gearing searches to your location. But to get different results and look at all your options, try using specific locations in the search terms. You can include the name of the suburb you live in, a nearby major city or even the phrase “near me.” You’ll get a wider variety of results with each search, depending on whether you want a broad search or a more narrow one.
We used a 2″ inch angled trim brush which fit perfectly and was small enough to reach areas where the flat brush couldn’t.
