Yes, you can mix interior and exterior paints as long as they have the same base. You can even mix a flat and a semi-gloss paint as long as they are both either oil-based or water-based. Be sure to combine both paints in a clean container and thoroughly mix the paints.
Set the tone of the space: Over time, your needs for various rooms in your house change. What used to be a nursery might now be a teenager’s room, or what was once an office might now be a play room. In addition to changing out the furniture, give the room a new coat of paint to set the tone. Changing that light pink nursery to bright blue will feel much more appropriate for a teenager’s bedroom. .

A good exterior painting job is a very involved process. The siding needs to be pressure washed, and, in some cases, areas that are very dirty of difficult to clean require hand washing. Loose or peeling paint needs to be removed, holes or gaps need to be filled and the entire surface needs to be sanded. Only then is it time to prime and apply a couple coats of paint.
If you consider the price per gallon, which ranges between $25 and $50 for interior primers, $30 and $70 for interior paint, $30 and $60 for exterior primers, and $35 and $80 for exterior paint, a rough cost estimate for the primer and paint necessary to cover 2,000 square feet ranges from $300 to $650 for interior and from $350 to $750 for exterior surfaces.
