We hired Ruben's painting to paint the exterior home. Over the phone, he stated he would would paint, patch stucco fixtures, and sand wood trims. Only thing he did was power wash and paint the exterior of the home. Their quality of work was not what we expected. The owner and his workers failed to provide exceptional work. They were suppose to patch stucco fixtures, sand wood trims. The paint on the front door and vents are peeling off. The work was messy and they did not clean up well. They left paint all over the roofing tile and windows. The owner should be around more to supervise his workers. We are dissatisfied and disappointed with this business. Please do your due diligence before hiring this company.
Our home painting experts are sticklers for quality, which is why they use primer. They know that primer can enhance paint's ability to provide a durable top coat while often reducing the number of coats that are necessary to achieve full coverage and a smooth finish.

Soundproof paint costs around $50 to $100 per gallon, a price many homeowners are willing to pay for the added noise protection. Soundproof paint is thicker than normal paint, thanks to thermacels with soft pigment and ceramic microspheres. This extra mass causes sound to vibrate, absorbing the waves, so there is less noise overall. An average gallon of interior paint does not have that filler, meaning more sound gets through. The noise protection is a huge advantage, as is the easy application and additional insulation to keep the room warmer. As for disadvantages, the added density means soundproof paint takes longer to dry. It is also meant for blocking airborne sound, not impact noise, so it does not work well on ceilings.
This is the most common type of siding that will need painting. All of the costs mentioned above should cover the painting of wood, cement board, and similar types of siding.
What’s more, the weather where you live could make the job take longer. Climate factors like humidity, extreme wind, or high temperatures will usually make painting more difficult. A job that takes longer can raise your labor costs just as much as higher rates can.
My experience with this team was smooth and painless from the beginning. I was able to get an estimate appointment for exterior painting fairly quickly, and James arrived on time and gave me a sense of confidence with the company. Unlike other estimators who simply looked around the property and then tell me to look out for the estimate via email, James took some time to present the company's credentials and explain what the process would be like. He presented references and documents showing they were up to date on their workers comp insurance, and photos of the work in progress to demonstrate the process. It's old school, but I do appreciate it.

It is very difficult to determine how a particular color will look on your walls, and with your lighting. If you have a color in mind, it is a good idea to buy a sample.

My house was a 70s build, and almost completely wallpapered with a lot of the wallpaper painted over, which definitely didn’t help in removing it all! I also had a slightly different problem with removing wallpaper – the previous owners had used vinyl wallpaper, which when steamed stretched a lot rather than scraping off easily. It was easier to just score and scrape or peel off the paper dry, and later steam off any papery bits that were left on the wall.

Even if you go it alone, specialize to keep your initial investment low. If you do only interior painting, for example, you might get by with one ladder, a few brushes, rollers, basic hand tools and such, for an investment of less than $300. Again, you can add to your tools as you need to (every job is a bit different), and parlay profits into the equipment necessary for exterior painting or working on large commercial properties.
An average house interior can cost between $1 and $2 to paint. There is a 50 cent and a $3 charge. The cost of a square foot is $50. You can expect to pay between $3 and $4 per square foot for the ceiling, walls, and trim. It is possible to charge an additional fee if the walls need to be repaired before painting can begin.
The second thing that we needed to do was prep the walls for paint. That required several things:
