Although the VIVAX Pros website uses a rather outdated web format, the content is well arranged with the home screen providing as much information regarding the company as possible. The header and footer are also meaningfully used to provide contact information for several of the company’s offices.
It should be noted that the cost per room does have a wide variable due to the many factors that can alter the overall cost per room, such as the size of the surface that needs to be painted, price of the paint, condition of the room walls, and so on. For instance, if the painters will need to resurface your wall due to holes and cracks, this will add to the overall costs.

“If you are sensitive to the chemicals in the paint, there’s always a safe option of paint to select like natural paint or low VOC paint. If you do not like the smell of oil based paint, you can substitute it for aquanamel water- based paint. However, if current door and frames are oil based, you will firstly need to sand off the gloss from the oil based paint and apply a stronger undercoat before you paint the aquanamel” Michael Tran – Project Manager
All proposed work should be included on a written contract that includes the company's name, address, office and cell phone numbers, and their professional license number.
Josh, some great work on the renovation, it’s come up really nicely! It’s good to see you stressing the importance of not taking short cuts when it comes to prepping and removing wallpaper. It definitely does lead to more problems down the road when done incorrectly. However there is a caveat on that. If the wallpaper is in good condition and you have primed it properly, you can get away with painting over wallpaper. On a few jobs where the client has been on a tight budget, we have used an oil based primer to really seal the adhesive and keep then moisture from the paint away. Has worked well and we haven’t got any call backs. But I’d still agree with you and always push for stripping back wallpaper where possible. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as the saying goes. Also, would love to see how your painted popcorn ceilings came up. We call it ‘vermiculite’. Its quite old school and we come across it in school jobs and old buildings occasionally. Jake Beals May 09, 2020
If you’ve decided to purchase the paint yourself, follow these guidelines to find out how much paint you’ll need.
Painting a mural on your wall involves an extra level of intricacy that ends up costing you. Most mural painters charge between $50 to $150 an hour to paint a mural, depending on their level of experience and the complexity of the design you want. Be sure to have a concrete idea of your vision, so you can work closely with your painter to make it come to life.
You'll want your painters to be licensed, bonded, and insured. Membership in a local trade association is also a good sign of an experienced, dedicated company.
Ask yourself: is this a color that I have seen before on another house? Do I know it will look good on the exterior or interior of my home, too? Not every color looks as good on the walls as it does off, but if you know what the room will look like before you commit to the color, you can be certain you’ll love the new look of your home.
This is a question that is usually pretty easy to answer. Think about the space and the rest of the furniture in the room. If there’s not much furniture, you might consider painting the walls a statement color. Or, if the room is filled with art or other statement pieces, think about letting the walls be the canvas, rather than the focal point.
Communication & Contracts: Make sure that your painters are willing to answer questions, work with you, and suit the work to your needs.
Paint costs $15 to $50 per gallon on average and covers up to 400 square feet per can. Professional painters buy paint up to 50% less than homeowners. To calculate how much paint you need, times the wall length by its height and subtract for any doors, windows, or unpaintable areas.

Wash walls to remove excess grease in the kitchens, take down window treatments and rods, remove artwork and shelving, pull furniture away from the walls or move it out of the room, take care of minor drywall repairs, remove outlet covers/switch plates, and lay down drop cloths.
Some homeowners start painting then realize later that it’s not as easy as they thought. Some painters think they can letter a truck with a company name and magically become a painter.
